January: For one week say yes. Inspired by the Jim Carey film, Yes Man all you need to do is say yes, unless it goes against your morals or the law. Just to do it for one week and find out where it takes you.

February: Get that hair cut. It is the party of the year, the one event we all look forward to and the occasion when everyone looks their best. In this make-up tutorial we’re going to share with you our beauty tips and tricks that ensure you stand out from the crowd this New Year’s Eve.

Let’s sparkle and shine

As you do every day, you will need to apply a good primer to your face after moisturising.

Next you need to apply your foundation. For an even application we suggest that you use a foundation brush.

Dot concealer under your eyes, around your nose and cover any blemishes you want to disappear. Then blend.

A bronzer is a fantastic product to use to contour your features. The trick is to frame your face with bronzer and leave the middle of your face untouched. Onlookers will be drawn to the lighter sections of your face, making your features look defined and your face slimmer. 

The same rule for contouring your face with bronzer applies to your cheeks. With your blusher you need to highlight the bottom of your cheekbones so they are more pronounced.

Before you grab your favourite eyeliner, choose a sparkling eyeshadow and apply to your eyelids. Once you’re happy with the effects (you may wish to blend a couple of colours) line your lashlines (top and bottom) with eyeliner.
