We all love a good scary movie. For the girls watching we can enjoy a comforting and reassuring hug from our partner whereas for the guys watching, they can showcase their masculinity and provide a supportive barrier for their loved one.

In April a new kind of scary movie will be coming to our cinema screens, a breed we are well acquainted with, but one that evokes a lot more emotions rather than just screams. Scary Movie is well known for spoofing much loved horror films and the fifth instalment is no different. The Final Destination trilogy, Child’s Play and Paranormal Activity have all had their plots and characters manipulated to create the new comedy film. So with trailers for the upcoming sequel already creating a buzz we began to think of the most horrifying scary films that have come into existence.

Without a second thought we all had Paranormal Activity at the tips of our tongues with the thought of the unknown scaring us half to death. With the most topical monster being zombies thanks to the popular TV series, The Walking Dead, everyone in the office is beginning to accumulate lists of the best zombie films.
